The third tip of keeping industrial boilers providing high-quality steam stably: regular maintenance.
In many cases, the boiler is like a car. The car is maintained regularly will be more fuel-efficient than the one no maintained, and will be no unexpected problems. The same is true of boilers.
To allow our boiler to provide you with high-quality steam stably, we must regularly inspect and maintain these boiler's parts.
Maintenance of water level gauge:
Maintenance of safety valve:
Maintenance of pressure gauge:
Maintenance of pipelines and valves:
Overhaul of flue and smokebox
Maintenance of boiler body, furnace wall, furnace chamber, and others
Maintenance of the thermometer
Special parts (such as water level gauges, lighting, etc.) should be resolved on time if problems are found during routine maintenance and inspection.
Boiler parts maintenance and repair time and requirements:
Once a month: Check the water level gauge cock to eliminate water leakage and air leakage.
1. Maintenance of water level gauge:
Once a month:
Check the lighting equipment, repair, and replace damaged parts.
Once every three months:
Tighten the sealing screw on the water level gauge.
Once every six months:
clean the glass of the water level gauge.
2. Maintenance of safety valve:
Once a month:
Check the safety valve for leaks.
Once a month:
Check the lead seal should be undamaged and the exhaust pipe should be unblocked.
Once a month:
Manually open the safety valve test.
Once a year:
Check and adjust the safety valve.
3. Maintenance of pressure gauge:
Once a month:
Check the three-way stopcock and the water elbow joint to eliminate leakage.
Once a month:
Turn the three-way cock to drain the water in the elbow to ensure the smooth flow of the pipeline; check the pressure gauge: the pointer should be able to return to the "zero" position.
Once half a year:
check and adjust the pressure gauge.
4. Maintenance of pipelines and valves:
Once a month:
Check whether the pipelines and valves are leaking or leaking.
Once every three months:
tighten the connecting screws on the valve and flange.
Once every three months:
clean appearance and make up paint, repair insulation layer.
5. Overhaul of the flue and smokebox
Once a year:
flue and smokebox cleaning.
6. Maintenance of boiler body, furnace wall, furnace chamber, and others
Once a month:
Clean and check the surface of the boiler drum for oil stains and dust deposits:
the boiler drum is deformed, bulged, cracked, and there is no leakage at the welding place:
whether the weld seam is cracked.
Once a month:
Check manholes and hand holes to eliminate leaks.
Once a year:
Check the furnace and remove the furnace and ash slagging, repair damaged refractory bricks.
Once a year:
Remove scale on the furnace, tube wall, and heated surface.
Boilers that have been in operation for 6 years or have been out of service for more than 1 year shall be subjected to a hydraulic test.
For one year of operation, a comprehensive inspection of the boiler shall be carried out.
7. Maintenance of the thermometer
The thermometer should be checked and replaced clearly and correctly.
The industrial boiler system is like our car, as long as we take good care of it. Maintain often. Then it only brings you benefits.
I hope this article will bring you more convenience!
